Today’s Advice From a Thoughtful Gillian
Another friend took her own life this weekend and tragically ended it…. 💔
I feel I have to pour my heart out to bring awareness to this subject, so often ignored & misunderstood by many.
My friend Kay was actually a “Comedian” amongst other things & incredibly creative, smart & intelligent. A lot of pain was hidden behind the smiles.
Like so many people we all go out into this world wearing our “masks” to face the world. Some more than others.!
Please take time to check on people, friends & loved ones & especially people living alone, but even partners & family members.
Ever heard it said, we can feel lonely in a crowd.
Do not assume people are fine, just because they don’t tell you. A lot is often hidden, sometimes in shame or guilt sadly.
So tell the people you love them often, hug them tightly & let them know you care before it is too late.
Send them flowers now – not after they die at the funeral home!
Never be afraid of feelings and emotions, we all have them, and it’s what makes us human.
We are not made of wood!
Sensitive & emotional people are beautiful, we get to see their hearts and souls.
There is beauty in vulnerability.
So don’t be afraid people, love with all your heart. We are on this earth for a short time only so enjoy it all we can.
Love each other please & show you care before it’s too late.
Anybody needing help please reach out for a chat or a coffee or a shoulder to cry on.
I am here for you. !
I hope this post helps save even one person, if we can all help save one person the world would be a better place.
Much love & many blessings to you.
Have a fabulous and loving day
Your Gillian
